Argal House – PKF Francis Clark
Project Description
Kirkham Board acted as 'Employers Representative' on the refurbishment of Argal House for PKF Francis Clark.
Kirkham Board originally oversaw works to Vantage Point when PKF Francis Clark relocated there in 2008. As a company PKF Francis Clark have expanded ever since, and required a larger building to meet their growing needs.
PKF Francis Clark enjoy sole occupancy of the building comprising 18,000 sq. ft. of space over two floors, almost double the area they occupied at Vantage Point, meaning all teams and specialisms can operate from there.
We managed and oversaw all aspects of the works, including CAT A and Cat B works.
Visitors to the new office are now greeted by larger and more spacious meeting areas, are able to charge their electric car in the car park, and enjoy the office’s courtyard garden. The interiors and spaces have been designed to encourage collaborative and creative working. The materials reflect the Devon landscape: glass, timber and slate and its colour scheme includes bright modern colours with a variety of textures and patterns running through both decorations and furnishing, with artwork by a local artist.
PKF Francis Clark have renamed the building to ‘Centenary House’ to reflect the firm’s upcoming 100th Birthday celebrations
